Ce n’est qu’un au revoir 💜 Just a goodbye from Juste Tutu 💛
If you're reading this post, it's because you've been part of Juste Tutu’s story—from Paris to pop-ups, from MassArt to mom-life, from Banh Mi to Granola! After over a decade in Boston, I’m writing to share some bittersweet news: Juste Tutu is relocating to Jacksonville, Florida this June.
Like the best granola—crunchy, a little nutty, and just sweet enough—this next chapter is a blend of emotions. Saying goodbye isn’t easy, but life’s sweetness is calling. This move (yes, another big one!) is rooted in purpose and filled with possibility.
Before I go, I’d love to offer you one last taste of Juste Tutu in the Boston area.

A quick rewind of this deliciously wild 🇺🇸 decade:
🎓 2014–2017: MFA thesis at the Dynamic Media Institute at MassArt laid the foundation for Juste Tutu—blending creativity, technology, and community.
🍰 After 15 years in events and marketing based in Paris (and traveling the world), I stepped into hospitality at Praliné (Belmont), then helped launch Pagu (Central Sq., Cambridge)—Spanish-Japanese tapas, now James Beard–nominated.
🍞 Earned my ServSafe certification and launched my first Banh Mi pop-ups at Lamplighter Brewing Co. and Colleen’s.
👩🏫 Started teaching Graphic Design at UMass Lowell and Lesley University —courses in Color, Drawing & Sketching, Intro to Interactivity, Design Thinking & Research, and even “Graphic Design Techniques for Sneaker Innovation.”
🤰 While secretly pregnant with my second child, I was invited to speak on the “Creating the Common Good: Food as Fulcrum” panel at MassArt with badass Women in Food like Jody Adams and Toni Elka. It was the first time Juste Tutu granola was shared publicly, and it took off from there.
🇫🇷 Reclaimed my French roots by teaching at École Française Greater Boston (now EfB), and I'm now wrapping up my 4th college semester at Bentley University. I also serve as a certified DELF and TCF examiner (a must if you're seeking French citizenship!).
🎙️ Co-created the French podcast Mauvaises Langues — already 2 juicy seasons exploring language, identity, and culture avec panache and lol.
👟 Taught a sneaker design class, collaborated with Concepts, who then asked to stock my granola at their café, which finally pushed me to get my wholesale license!
🛒 Granola stocked around Boston at: Praliné, Colleen’s, Dado Tea, Momma’s, and Nouvelle Maison.
🧺 Popped up everywhere: Winchester & Boston farmers markets, Elmendorf’s Grand Prix de la Baguette (twice!), a Banh Mi workshop for teens at the French Library, DELF jury at the International School of Boston, and informal consulting for local gems like Nouvelle Maison, Dado Tea, and Lucy’s.
✨ Found deep kinship in Boston’s entrepreneurial and cultural networks: ElevAsian (I pitched Juste Tutu for the first time), Asian Business Empowering Council, Women of Color Entrepreneurs, and even Facebook groups like Boston French Connexion, Asians in Arlington, and Arlington Cooks.
And now for the exciting part…
🌞 I’ve accepted a full-time position as Instructor of Graphic Design - Visual Media Specialist at the University of North Florida, in the Department of Art, Art History & Design!
I’m dreaming of cross-disciplinary programs that blend food, design, storytelling, and tech—and you know Juste Tutu will keep growing in spirit and community. Guess what one of the courses I’ll teach this fall is called? Creativity & Critique!
So here’s my question for you:
Where do you see Juste Tutu going next?
I have so many ideas—and I’d love to hear yours too.
Thank you for every shared snack, story, order, and kind word.
With all my love and endless gratitude,
🙏 Tuyen (aka Tutu from Juste Tutu)
